Get Growing! Tools and Strategies for Living, Working and Relating Well
Fresh Starts, The Seven Day Challenge, Facebook and More...
October 7, 2020
Autumn is my favorite time of year, not just because I was born on Labor Day (making my birthday a national holiday) or because the days are cool, crisp and invigorating. It’s a time of year associated with fresh starts and new beginnings. The perfect time to try something new or cross something off your to-do list...finally!
In that spirit, why not try the thing you’ve always wanted to try or do the thing that never seems to get done? The thing that’s been whispering in your ear for far too long. Make it your goal.
Here's the Seven Day Challenge:
Now for the fun part, send me an email and let me know how it went, regardless of the outcome. Win or whoops!... the wheels are in motion.
And speaking of goals, anyone who knows me well, knows I’m not into social media. No offense, I guess it just wasn't my thing...until now. I finally decided to take my own advice, step out of my comfort zone and try something new. So, ta-da! I'm pleased to announce the launch of my brand new Facebook page.
Even though I’m a bit of a technophobe, turns out social media is more fun than I thought. So many interesting and creative ways to connect. My goal is to make it an interesting and interactive space featuring relevant and relatable topics, helpful hints and valuable resources, so click here and let me know what you think.
But wait, there's more! Would you like to attend a really fun and thought-provoking workshop? One that will get you thinking AND living differently than you have in the past?
I'm excited to present "Living Your Wisdom: Simple Strategies for Achieving Your Goals and Dreams." Join me via Zoom to explore the power of wisdom and choice in creating a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Using Professor Randy Pausch’s widely acclaimed lecture, Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams, I’ll show you how to apply your own inner wisdom to live your life joyfully and by design. You’ll leave this workshop with tools and strategies for taking those all-important and sometimes daunting first steps in the direction of your goals and dreams.

In that spirit, why not try the thing you’ve always wanted to try or do the thing that never seems to get done? The thing that’s been whispering in your ear for far too long. Make it your goal.
Here's the Seven Day Challenge:
- Decide what you want to achieve - Set your goal.
- Go to your calendar and choose a date within the next seven days to take that first step toward achieving your goal. You may be able to complete it in just one step.
- Figure out what your first action-step should be. Maybe it’s a phone call, a Google search or a brain storming session.
- Enter that step in your calendar and then…DO IT! The first step is the hardest but once it’s done, you’re on your way.
Now for the fun part, send me an email and let me know how it went, regardless of the outcome. Win or whoops!... the wheels are in motion.
