Is coaching right for me?
If you are ready to take the leap from thought to action, from dreaming to doing, then coaching is right for you. Coaching is a pragmatic, action-oriented process designed to help highly motivated individuals reach even greater levels of success and fulfillment. If this resonates with you, then coaching will be a good fit.
What happens during a coaching session?
I provide a safe environment that encourages you to discuss and explore your goals and aspirations on a deeper level. We then put our heads together to design your plan of action and revise it as needed. I closely monitor your progress as you share your accomplishments and challenges. At the end of each session, you will have a clearly defined set of action steps designed to move you toward your goals.
How long will it take for me to reach my coaching goals?
It depends upon the nature of your goals and the amount of time and energy you devote to the coaching process. At least two months is recommended to allow new habits, thought patterns and goal-oriented behavior to become firmly established. However, it is possible to make significant progress in less time as well.
How is coaching different from counseling or psychotherapy?
Counseling and psychotherapy tend to focus on the past, whereas coaching focuses on the present with a nod to the future by concentrating on what you want to accomplish. While insights and aha moments are quite common in coaching, the greater emphasis is on applying them to your life.
How will I know if you are the right coach for me?
